whats up guys the coding beast here. so todayi gonna redo one of my tutorials again. so this tutorial gonna be about how to mountcounter strike source content to your garry's mod server. so if you are using darkrp asyour gamemode. you will probably see alot of errors when you join such as counter strikesource is not mounted. common symptoms: money and guns floating in the air. darkrp willnot work without it. so to fix this problem
Garry's Mod Server Hosting, you have to go back to your steamcmd folder.open steamcmd.exe type in login anonymous. hit enter and wait for it to connect to theservers. success. now you have to type in force underscore install underscore dir. nowyou have to find a folder where you want all the counter strike content to be installedto. so i made a new folder here called counter
strike source. so open it up. go up here clickctrl+c or right click and copy. go back to your steamcmd. right click on the icon editand paste. now just hit enter and type in app underscore update 232330 validate. hitenter and it will start downloading all the counter strike source content. i already havecounter strike source installed so i'm not gonna do this step. so now you will have togo back to your counter strike source folder. find cstrike right click and copy or ctrl+c.now go back to your garry's mod folder and paste in the cstrike folder. hit ctrl+v orright click and paste. i already have it installed so i'm not gonna do this step. now you willhave to open up garrysmod and cfg. find mount.cfg. i gonna use notepad++ you can use any othereditor. so you mount.cfg will probably look
something similar to this. so first off youhave to remove these 2 slashes. if you don't remove these it wont work. delete those andnow you have to find the directory where your cstrike folder is located. go back to garrysmod.here. go to cstrike. click up here and click ctrl+c or right click and copy. now pastethese in between the 2 double quotes and hit save. now you just have to restart the server.so you can now see that i joined my server again and you can see there is no errors orwarnings. so yeah i think that is all for today guys thanks for watching please comment,rate and subscribe.
